Breakfast Bunch

Breakfast Bunch is a program specifically designed for those students needing supervised care before the regular school day begins.  The program is held on all school days and opens at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast Bunch for Kindergarten students is housed at the Pittaway School, and students ride the bus up the hill in the morning. 1st and 2nd grade students attend Breakfast Bunch at the Warren School, and Breakfast Bunch for 3rd through 6th graders is held at the Mindess School. Sixth graders are bussed to the Middle School in the morning after Breakfast Bunch.

WHAT'S FOR BREAKFAST?

Children may choose from a variety of offerings.  Breakfast is broken down into four groups, and children may choose one item from each group (they may have more than one serving from the fruits/vegetables group).  Children can also have milk and assorted 100% fruit juices with breakfast.  Mindess students attending Mindess for Breakfast Bunch are offered what the Mindess kitchen serves, which is very similar to these.

Nutri-grain bars, granola bars, cinnamon rolls (occasionally)

HOW BREAKFAST BUNCH WORKS

Our Breakfast Bunch program is a loosely structured block of time where children can socialize, play, create, eat breakfast, and exercise muscles.  All students may choose how they spend their Breakfast Bunch time.

NOTABLE NOTES

Breakfast Bunch tuition is due on the 25th of the month for the upcoming month.

*Breakfast Bunch is closed if school is cancelled or delayed.

*The front entrance to the Warren School is locked.  Please ring the buzzer once and a Breakfast Bunch staff member will buzz you in.

Please do not drop your child off at the front curb or door for obvious safety reasons.

Parents of Mindess EDP students may drop off their child at the middle doors IF the little yellow man that says, "Children at Play" is outside. This is your cue that we are staffed and ready to go. Please do not drive away until you see your child enter the building. You also are welcomed to come into the building any time you'd like.
