Welcome to the Ashland High School Socios Chapter of National Honor Society.

"The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character" (from the NHS national website).

Ashland High School has had a charter with NHS since 1959, when it established the Socios Chapter of NHS.  Students are encouraged, from the beginning of freshman year, to maintain high academic achievement in order to be eligible for admissions to NHS in their junior or senior years of high school ( see Admissions).

The colors selected by the national office to represent National Honor Society are blue and gold.
